Welcome to RCL Counseling. Our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized counseling that helps individuals, couples, and families find healing, strengthen relationships, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. We believe every person has inherent value and the capacity for growth, and we strive to create a welcoming environment where clients can speak openly, feel understood, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change. Our practice brings together two Licensed Professional Counselor Associates with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, united by a commitment to helping others. R.C. Lehman, LPC-Associate Supervised by Paul Irby, M.A., LPC-S (#60529) My journey into counseling is rooted in faith, service, and a calling to help others find healing and purpose. Before becoming a counselor, I spent more than a decade in public service, including law enforcement, emergency medical services, and service in the United States Navy. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into the stress, trauma, and emotional challenges that can accompany a life devoted to serving others. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University in 2007 and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. My personal experiences as a father of three sons, along with navigating divorce, custody challenges, and the work of rebuilding balance and stability, have further shaped my understanding of the difficulties people face during life's most challenging seasons. My counseling approach integrates evidence-based practices with a Christian worldview. My faith in Christ informs my commitment to compassion, accountability, truth, and restoration. When appropriate and desired by the client, I incorporate Scripture and spiritual principles alongside individualized treatment planning to support mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. I have a particular passion for working with first responders, law enforcement officers, veterans, healthcare professionals, clergy, attorneys, single parents, and others who routinely put the needs of others before their own. I also work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, family conflict, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, work through difficult experiences, restore a sense of purpose, and become the healthiest version of themselves. Kashaena Garcia, LPC-Associate Supervised by Sherry Rosenblad, Ph.D., LPC-S Kashaena brings a compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to counseling. She believes that people deserve a safe and welcoming space where they can feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021 and her Master’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in 2025. Her educational background, study of human behavior and relationships, and personal experiences have contributed to her interest in helping people better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. Kashaena works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting difficulties, relationship conflict, and life transitions. She also has a particular interest in helping individuals recover from emotionally harmful relationships, rebuild confidence, establish healthy boundaries, and rediscover their sense of self. Her client-centered approach incorporates Gestalt Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, emphasizing personal awareness, individual strengths, practical coping strategies, and achievable goals. She works collaboratively with clients to understand their experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop tools that support meaningful and lasting growth. Kashaena's goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing life's difficulties toward greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and renewed confidence in their ability to move forward. Counseling That Sees the Whole Person At RCL Counseling, we recognize that healing is rarely one-dimensional. Mental health, emotional well-being, physical health, relationships, personal history, and spiritual beliefs can all influence how we experience the world. We tailor counseling to each client's needs, drawing on appropriate therapeutic approaches and practical tools to support meaningful progress. For clients who desire faith-based counseling, Christian beliefs and biblical principles can be incorporated into the therapeutic process in a thoughtful and individualized way. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, grief, or a major life transition, our goal is to meet you where you are and help you determine where you want to go. We also offer co-couples counseling, bringing two counseling perspectives into the room to help couples better understand their relationship patterns, improve communication, and work toward healthier ways of connecting. At RCL Counseling, you do not have to have everything figured out before asking for help. You simply have to be willing to begin. Your journey toward healing, growth, and becoming the best version of yourself begins here. Welcome to RCL Counseling.
