Introduction

APPROACH I prioritize building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, focusing first on coping strategies and regulation techniques. My trauma-informed approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness to help you understand your emotions, inner parts, and reactions. Once you feel comfortable, we'll explore how your past influences your present experiences. It’s an honor to help you navigate your toughest challenges. TRAUMA Do you feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by life’s challenges? Are past traumas affecting your relationships or your sense of self? You may find yourself caught in emotional reactions, conflict, or uncertainty about who you are and what you want. Maybe you have tried therapy before and did not see lasting change. You long for peace, clarity, and a way forward. You want to feel whole, grounded, and connected to yourself and to the people who matter most. COUPLES I work with all couples, all orientations, and all styles of monogamy. We will track your cycle of conflict, build awareness of where the reactivity is coming from and move toward one another from a place of calm. Together, we'll focus on fostering compassion, curiosity, and connection instead of blame and reactivity. FAMILIES/ADOPTION With extensive research in designing training programs to foster family connectedness, I specialize in supporting families formed through adoption. I can help you understand the roots of challenging behaviors and guide you toward more connected ways of addressing them. KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (KAP) If you feel stuck working through the same issues for too long, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy may offer a new perspective and a boost toward lasting change. We can work together to determine if KAP is right for you (individuals and couples). BACKGROUND I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Care Management in 2009, then took time to stay home with my three children. I graduated with honors from the Clinical Mental Health Master’s program at Denver Seminary in 2023, and I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2025.
