Introduction

APPROACH I prioritize building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, focusing first on coping strategies and regulation techniques. My trauma-informed approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness to help you understand your emotions, inner parts, and reactions. Once you feel comfortable, we'll explore how your past influences your present experiences. TRAUMA You may feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by patterns that keep resurfacing. Past trauma can leave certain parts of you feeling burdened or protective, which can make it hard to feel grounded, open, or connected in the ways you want. You may notice quick reactions in relationships or find yourself repeating roles that no longer serve you. Even if therapy has helped before, your parts may not have had the safety they needed for deeper healing. My trauma work focuses on helping your system feel safe, making space for the different parts of you, and supporting you in moving toward a more connected and self led way of living. COUPLES/PARTNERSHIPS/POLYCULES I work with all relationships, all orientations, and all styles of monogamy and non-monogamy. Together we will map the cycle of conflict, understand what drives reactivity, and create pathways back to one another from a grounded place. The focus is on compassion, curiosity, and emotional connection rather than blame or disconnection. My work integrates EFT and IFS to help partners build secure bonds and deeper understanding. FAMILIES/ADOPTION With extensive research in designing training programs to foster family connectedness, I specialize in supporting families formed through adoption. I can help you understand the roots of challenging behaviors and guide you toward more connected ways of addressing them. KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (KAP) If you feel stuck working through the same issues without meaningful change, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy may offer a new perspective and support deeper healing. We will explore together whether KAP is an appropriate fit for you as an individual or for your relationship. I also offer preparation and ongoing integration to help you make sense of insights and apply them to lasting change. BACKGROUND I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Care Management in 2009 and then spent several years at home with my three children. I graduated with honors from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Denver Seminary in 2023 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2025. I provide trauma informed therapy for individuals, couples, partners, and polycules through in-person sessions in Lakewood and Telehealth services throughout Colorado.
