I help folks restore calm, playfulness, and connectedness to their lives following experiences of "Big T" and "little t" trauma. My potential clients might be seeking support with depression, social and general anxiety, acute stress, gender, sexuality, relationships, substance use, existential concerns, emotional flooding, complex dynamics with family of origin. In my practice, I integrate somatic, cognitive, and relational approaches, with an emphasis on both autonomy and interdependence. I draw on S.A.F.E. EMDR, ACT, somatics, motivational interviewing, and sex therapy – adapting to individual needs. I work with recognition of my identity as a white, able-bodied, queer person, inhabiting the unique position of therapist in the broader context of capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy. Sometimes therapist bios read like alphabet soup. If you’re unsure, I encourage folks to schedule a free 15-minute consult call to assess whether we're a good fit!
