My name is Katelyn and I work with children and families struggling with a multitude of issues including but not limited to divorce, trauma, parenting challenges, disruptive/unsafe behaviors, suicidal ideation/self harming, adoption, foster care, reunification, depression, and anxiety. I've worked in a variety of settings such as residential facilities, schools, foster care, and in home with children and families. In addition I also work with mothers pre/post natal with the complexities of bringing home a new baby. I have experience working with children 0-16 and their families, with additional training/certification in infant/toddler mental health, foster care issues, adoption, and trauma. I am able to offer strategies and techniques from EMDR, TF-CBT, Life Story work, and PCIT to best aid a family in building connection and safety. Seeking help can be hard especially when it comes to your children. You may feel as if other's don't understand what is happening, feel defeated, or unsure what to do. My goals is to not only help support children's needs but also ensure that families are getting the services they need to be successful.
