I am a Philadelphian born and raised (Go Birds!) and I know growing up here has shaped me in so many ways. I bring a good mix of warmth and directness that clients find refreshing, like talking to a neighbor you really like (not the one that takes your parking spot). I recognize that our experiences in therapy are deeply influenced by our cultures, identities, communities, and the larger systems we live within. I strive to create a space where all parts of your experience are welcome—the difficult, complicated, joyful, and everything in between. As a licensed mental health therapist, my approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a trauma-focused approach that can help you process difficult experiences, explore the thoughts and beliefs that may have developed after trauma, and move toward healing with greater self-compassion. Together, we can make room for the full range of what it means to heal, grow, and better understand yourself.
