Sometimes life can temporarily become difficult to navigate alone. Seeking therapy can be a valuable tool to help you create the change you desire. I have experience working with clients in the judicial system such as CPS, substance use programs (outpatient, perinatal and residential) as well as for those needing support with difficult situations in life as they arise. I have lived and professional experience working with sensitive issues such as adoption, family dynamics, anxiety, depression and overall mental health and well-being. I use a variety of techniques (CBT, Narrative Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) that are tailored to meet the individual needs of the client. Meeting a client where they are and understanding where they want to be is my focus and goal. Although I have over 30 years of experience working with families and individuals in different therapeutic settings, I decided to return to school for my clinical license. I hold a master's degree in Marriage Family Therapy, and a CCAPP Certification for drugs and alcohol counseling. I am an Associate Marriage Family Therapist with an extensive history in working with at risk families and youth 0-12 years old, co-occurring disorders, mental health and residential and outpatient facilities for substance use. I am looking forward to empowering you in each session to create the desired change you are seeking.
