My career in counseling began as a school counselor, where I spent several years supporting children, adolescents, and families through academic, social-emotional, and personal challenges. I have experience working with ADHD, autism, anxiety, emotional and behavioral challenges, 504 plans, and advocating for equitable access to educational and mental health resources. My approach is holistic and person-centered, drawing from CBT, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, understanding, and connection. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, recognize patterns, and develop healthy coping skills. You may have heard endless recommendations or coping strategies from previous counselors, but I want to go beyond simply adding more tools to your toolbox. Together, we’ll identify what truly works for you, build the skills you need, and develop strategies that fit your life and goals. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to help you better understand yourself, build confidence, and create meaningful change so you can feel more capable, fulfilled, and successful in everyday life. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with my pets.
