Introduction

I offer an accepting, authentic, and shame-free space for individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s most demanding challenges. My therapeutic approach is warm, deeply compassionate, and practical. I combine intensive clinical training with a down-to-earth directness to help you gain insight, develop actionable coping skills, and create lasting change. My Specialty Areas of Practice I provide evidence-based therapy tailored specifically to high achievers, couples, and families navigating major transitions. My core specialties include: * High Achievers, Executives, & Business Professionals: Managing executive burnout, perfectionism, professional stressors, anxiety, and work-life balance. * Couples Therapy & Relational Issues: Rebuilding trust, repairing repetitive conflict patterns, healing attachment wounds, and restoring emotional intimacy. * LGBTQ+ Family Support: Helping parents navigate uncertainty, fears, and communication changes while building a deeply supportive, affirming relationship with their LGBTQ+ child. * Clinical Health & Transition Support: Navigating depression, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, and maternal mental health challenges. My Approach to Therapy I believe you are the expert of your own experience, and I serve as your guide through deep attunement and presence. Because every client is unique, I reject one-size-fits-all treatments. I draw from a diverse toolkit of specialized, evidence-based modalities to build a plan that fits your exact needs: * Gottman Method Couples Therapy for relational healing and communication. (NIH - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6037577/; Gottman Institute - https://www.gottman.com/about/research/) * Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (Certified) for managing thoughts and emotions. (NIH - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8475916/) * Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for trauma, OCD and anxiety. (NIH -https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3951033/); (NIH - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11614422/); (NIH - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6935308/) * Transgender Affirmative Mental Healthcare (over 42 hours of advanced continued education). (NIH - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9829155/) * Attachment-Based, Humanistic, Person Centered, Somatic and Trauma-Informed Care to heal foundational wounds. Background and Clinical Experience For more than 30 years, I have helped clients move through complex challenges and build stronger relationships—with others and with themselves. I have worked across a broad spectrum of professional and clinical settings since 1994, holding both direct practice and clinical management positions. My extensive background includes experience in: * Inpatient Treatment Facilities & Intensive Outpatient Programs * Hospice Organizations specializing in grief, loss, and bereavement work * Corporate Settings understanding the distinct pressures faced by leaders and executives Outside of clinical practice, I have a long-standing history of volunteering for and supporting local non-profit organizations, rooted in my core belief that relationships matter. Whether you are trapped in a cycle of painful relationship patterns, carrying the heavy mental load of executive leadership, or learning how to best support your LGBTQ+ child, meaningful change is entirely possible. You do not have to carry everything alone.
