Introduction

I help hurting, struggling, and disconnected couples heal and find each other again. Couples that want to work with me include those stuck in patterns of destructive reactivity, couples in crisis hoping to save their marriage, disconnected couples lacking intimacy, couples struggling with past trauma, betrayal, infidelity and violations, and couples struggling to align on core relationship expectations. Counseling couples is my passion. As a long-time, partnered parent who has experienced the challenges of raising little ones and launching college-bound teens, I also support parents and children struggling to repair and build trust. My individual clients want to address family of origin grief, attachment injuries, anxiety, perfectionism, identity exploration, abuse recovery, and post-divorce transitions. I understand and see all client distress through an attachment lens; there are deep, underlying attachment longings and fears driving all painful and destructive patterns of behavior. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as a framework, along with somatic awareness and IFS-informed parts work to organize complex, layered emotions, I help foster corrective experiences for my clients to create secure attachment and heal how they relate to themselves and to those they love. If my focus and approach resonate with you, please reach out.
