I believe that healing begins with a genuine connection. As a therapist, I’m committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is authentic and empathetic, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate life’s challenges—whether that’s anxiety, major life transitions, relationship issues, or cancer. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have experience in mental health settings, academia, faith-based ministries, nonprofits, along with a season of full time parenting. As a breast cancer survivor, I’ve gained strength and resilience in facing life’s challenges, and I am honored to walk alongside others through their own struggles. I view each person through the lens of my faith, believing that everyone is unique, worthy of love and respect. Raised in a Taiwanese immigrant family, I grew up balancing 2 cultures and observed my parents pursue the American Dream. From working with at-risk youth to living in Spain, and parenting my teen and emerging adult children, I have gained wisdom and humility from these experiences. Life is messy, but there is hope - it's my privilege to journey with you!
