Introduction

I believe counseling works best when you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment and without feeling like you have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I want to understand not only what you are struggling with, but also the experiences, relationships, and circumstances that have helped shape where you are today. Together, we can identify what may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward changes that are meaningful and realistic for your life. I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. I tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches, psychoeducation, and current research. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand yourself, develop useful tools, and move toward the life you want. Education & Training I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University–Idaho and my Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Utah State University. My advanced training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with continued professional training in evidence-based approaches to mental health and trauma. I am committed to continuing education and regularly participate in advanced training so that the care I provide reflects current research and best practices.
