I work with adults of all ages to help people cultivate healthy relationships with themselves and to heal from past experiences that might be holding them back. I engage in therapy from a personalized, collaborative, and person centered approach; meaning what happens in the therapy room is not a mystery-the work that we do together is discussed and agreed upon by myself and the client. I base my work off of the belief that understanding one’s current and past experiences leads to healing which results in improved daily functioning and feeling better. My process allows individuals to better connect with themselves through acceptance, compassion, and understanding of one’s internal workings. I have worked in the mental health field for 13 years, and have been practicing as a therapist for 8 years. I offer a variety of approaches to therapy based on the needs of the person that I am working with, including Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), attachment focused therapies, and trauma informed and focused approaches. I have experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults, and I am currently accept clients of ages 18 and above. A little bit about me-I love to run, read, cook, and be in nature. Wondering more about what your therapist likes to do during free time? Ask me! I love to connect with clients about their own hobbies and interests and am happy to share about mine as well.
