At Whole Self Counseling we empower clients to honor their whole self, heal at their own pace, and build lives rooted in authenticity, balance, and connection. We deliver evidence based, client-centered therapy that supports individuals in integrating all parts of themselves — feelings, experiences, and strengths — to achieve meaningful wellness. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University. Katie brings extensive clinical experience from her work in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and private practice. These diverse settings have shaped her collaborative, strengths-based approach and deepen her understanding of the varied levels of support individuals and families may need throughout their healing journey. She works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss, family conflict, and behavioral concerns. Katie understands the unique pressures that individuals and families face today and has a special passion for parent education and family support. She believes that when people cultivate self-compassion and strengthen their connections with one another, healing and growth naturally follow. Katie uses an integrated therapeutic style that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. www.wholeselfcounselingservices.com
