Introduction

— Immediate availability for teens, adults & families in AZ & HI; Anxiety/OCD, PTSD, and addiction speciality — Many of my clients come to therapy feeling like they're at the end of their rope. They or their teen have been struggling with severe anxiety, intrusive memories or thoughts, avoidance, interpersonal challenges, mood swings, and similar issues, often for a long time, and found themselves trapped in self-destructive patterns to manage it. They often recognize that there's something deeper going on to understand and address, and are looking for skilled, non-judgmental professional help to do the work to get better. While I draw from a range of interventions in my practice, my overall approach is alliance-centered, which means I believe effective therapy happens within the context a real, working relationship built on honesty, trust, and a shared commitment to therapeutic goals. Lasting growth doesn't happen with techniques or advice, but through a genuine connection that allows us to identify difficult patterns, understand their purpose, and learn how to respond differently. In terms of personality, you can expect me to be thoughtful, curious, and earnest. I pay close attention and will offer observations and working hypotheses for your feedback, challenge or support when needed, and make deliberate clinical decisions in service to your goals. Therapy can be hard work, but I will be working alongside you. Above all, I consider it a tremendous privilege to get to know my clients, and hope that comes across in my work. I truly believe that we are all carrying burdens and doing the best we can with what we’ve been given. If you feel stuck in self-destructive patterns that have taken a toll on your work, relationships, or sense of self, you don’t have to deal with it alone. Reach out today to schedule an evaluation.
