Introduction

Hey—I’m Katie Love, and I help adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples face the big, messy stuff—whether it’s sex-related concerns, unprocessed trauma, PTSD, or recovery from substance use and addiction. My specialty? Helping you unpack what you’ve been holding onto (maybe for years) so you can stop just surviving and start living with intention. Life has a way of piling it on—intimacy struggles, past experiences you’ve tried to outrun, the weight of addiction, or the everyday cycle of anxiety, depression, and burnout. This is your space to drop the performance, say the thing out loud, and be met with zero judgment. What You Can Expect in Session Our sessions are part deep conversation, part practical strategy, and all about getting you unstuck. First, I get to know you—your story, your patterns, your goals. Then we roll up our sleeves. I’m open, honest, and not afraid to point out when something doesn’t add up (with love, of course). We’ll figure out what’s keeping you stuck, challenge habits and beliefs that don’t serve you, and build tools you’ll actually use outside our time together. Sometimes that looks like breathing and grounding techniques; sometimes it’s visualizing your “ideal life” and mapping how to get there. How I Work No one-size-fits-all here. I tailor every session to you, pulling from approaches like: Integrative & Holistic Therapy – treating the whole you, not just symptoms Person-Centered Therapy – you’re in the driver’s seat Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – calming your mind and body Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) – working through the tough stuff in a safe, structured way Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviors I’ll push when you need it, support when you doubt yourself, and keep us focused on what matters most to you. How I Help Here’s what our work might focus on: Healing from trauma so your past stops calling the shots Tackling sex and intimacy issues without shame or judgment Managing anxiety and depression in ways that actually stick Building self-awareness so you catch patterns before they take over Navigating recovery from addiction with sustainable tools Some clients tell me they leave sessions with my voice in their head—asking the hard questions, challenging the excuses, and reminding them they’re stronger than they think. What It’s Like to Work With Me Imagine sitting down (or logging in) and feeling like you don’t have to filter a thing. We might laugh, we might cry, but we’ll always keep it real. I’ll challenge you, I’ll back you, and I’ll celebrate every single step forward—big or small. Therapy with me is a partnership. You bring your truth, I bring the tools, and together we make changes that last. My goal? For you to leave feeling more self-aware, more confident, and more capable than when you walked in. Now accepting new clients—in-person and virtual. If you’re ready for therapy that’s real, challenging, and unapologetically about you, let’s talk and see if we vibe
