Introduction

I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern working alongside Katty Rozok, LCSW, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2027. I bring more than 20 years of experience in the field of social work, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. My current clinical training has allowed me to build upon this experience through more than 200 hours of direct client contact, working closely with Katty and continuing to develop my clinical skills and therapeutic approach. I have also facilitated a Circle of Security® Parenting group, helping caregivers better understand their children's emotional needs and strengthen secure, healthy relationships. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including approximately six years supporting youth in group homes, four years as a case manager and supervisor with a foster care agency, and two years serving as a Guardian ad Litem in dependency cases. I have supported children and families navigating trauma, foster care, reunification, crisis, and other significant life challenges. I have also worked with two faith-based nonprofit organizations over a total of three years. In one, I supported families experiencing crisis and significant life challenges. In the other, I served as a Client Services Director at a pregnancy clinic, supporting mothers, fathers, and families as they navigated pregnancy, parenting, relationships, and other important life transitions. These experiences have shaped the way I approach counseling. I believe healing begins with trust. Before meaningful change can happen, you need to feel safe enough to be honest about what you are experiencing. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported—a place where you can be yourself without judgment and know that you do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and attachment-based. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches based on each client's individual needs and goals. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or other circumstances that may leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. For clients who desire it, I am honored to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the counseling process. I believe faith, hope, and community can be meaningful sources of strength and healing, while respecting each person's beliefs, values, and individual journey. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools to support healing, resilience, and personal growth. I believe healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and it would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you pursue hope, healing, and lasting change.
