I became a therapist because I've always been fascinated by why we think, feel, and respond the way we do. Over the years, that curiosity has grown into a deep passion for helping people understand themselves with greater compassion instead of shame. I believe our thoughts, emotions, and protective patterns are not signs that something is wrong with us; they're often intelligent adaptations to the experiences we've lived through. When we understand those patterns, we can begin creating new ones that help us thrive rather than simply survive. I earned my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Stanislaus, and my approach integrates evidence-based therapy with attachment theory, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and practical skills you can use outside of our sessions. I strive to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged as we work toward meaningful, lasting change. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, and I have experience supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, perfectionism, and high-demand religious or faith transitions. Together, we'll work to better understand your unique experiences, strengthen your emotional resilience, and help you build a life that feels more connected, intentional, and aligned with your values. While I don't currently accept insurance, I believe quality therapy should be accessible. Sliding scale fees may be available based on individual circumstances.
