Introduction

My name is Katy Bigsby. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Bachelors of Arts from Wake Forest University. I have more than 10 years of experience providing clinical services to adolescents and families in a variety of practice settings. I am passionate about helping young people cultivate the skills to support emotional wellness. As a clinician, I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment models in order to best meet each client's unique needs. I believe the cornerstone to good therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. In my free time, I can likely be found playing four square with my husband and three children, reading, drinking coffee or folding laundry. Life requires balance.
