Introduction

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill. I specialize in adolescent mental health and have over 10 years of experience delivering individual and family centered treatment interventions. I am passionate about helping young people cultivate the skills to support emotional wellness and navigate the world around them. I believe the cornerstone to good therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment models in order to best meet each client's unique needs. In addition to office-based treatment, I offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) using the EAGALA model. EAGALA is an experiential treatment modality that is ground based and solution focused. EAP sessions are delivered by an EGALA certified team at a separate location. In my free time, I can likely be found playing four square with my husband and three children, reading, drinking coffee or folding laundry. Life requires balance.
