Introduction

You’re tired of feeling anxious, stuck, or weighed down by old trauma. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and felt like the therapist didn’t “get” you. You want relief from painful memories, real skills for daily life, and a therapist who is authentic, down-to-earth, and can handle humor, honesty, and hard topics without judgment, and who will meet you on your level—even if that means shoes off and sitting on the floor with you. I am a person-centered therapist, combining evidenced-based, trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, advanced Flash Technique, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These experiential, body-aware therapies help clients process experiences not only through talking, but by working directly with emotions, sensations, and memory in a structured and safe way, with a strong focus on stability, choice, and nervous system regulation. I’ve often been told that I'm not your "typical" therapist - think genuine conversation and transparency, combined with evidence-based skills that work. I believe change is possible, therapy should feel human, and every client should feel heard. If you’re ready for support that’s honest, compassionate, and empowering, I’d love to work with you on your journey.
