Introduction

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest and authentic about what you’re experiencing without having to hide parts of yourself that matter too. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are. A place to slow down, better understand what you’re feeling, and feel more connected to yourself and the relationships that matter most. My work is centered around helping you better understand yourself. Your emotions, patterns, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you. I use Emotion-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with an attachment-based perspective, to create a space where we can slow down, make sense of what’s underneath the surface, and work toward meaningful change. I work with children 8+, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, self-esteem, relationships, boundaries, life transitions, and the challenges that can come with growing and changing. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults as they develop a stronger sense of who they are, as well as individuals who are learning to step out of old patterns and create healthier, more connected relationships. I believe that becoming more aware of our emotions doesn’t mean letting them take over. It means learning to understand them, respond to them with compassion, and feel more grounded in who we are. Therapy can be a place to build that awareness, strengthen self-trust, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, hard on yourself, or simply know that something needs to change, you don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy. We can begin right where you are. I currently offer a free 15-minute consultation for those who would like to see if working together feels like the right fit.
