Introduction

I became a therapist not only because I believe in the power of healing, but because I’ve lived it. My passion for mental health is rooted in personal experience—growing up surrounded by the impacts of trauma, mental illness, and substance use in my own family. These early experiences shaped my commitment to helping others navigate pain, rediscover their strength, and reclaim their story. Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of mental health settings, each one adding depth to how I support clients today. I began my career as a domestic violence advocate and counselor, and have since served in roles such as mobile crisis responder, BHIS counselor, inpatient behavioral health social worker, and virtual IOP therapist and group facilitator. I’ve supported individuals in moments of deep crisis and walked alongside them through stabilization, healing, and growth. I’ve intentionally chosen to work in these diverse environments so I could learn, evolve, and meet people where they are—whether in crisis, in recovery, or in search of deeper meaning. In addition to my clinical work, I currently serve as a Community Programs Clinical Director, where I oversee and help shape accessible, community-based mental health services that meet people where they are and create lasting change. I named my practice not just after myself, but in honor of my parents—whose lives continue to inspire the heart of this work. I believe therapy should feel safe, human, and empowering. My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a belief that healing is possible for everyone, no matter where you’re starting from. If you’re ready to begin your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you.
