I love working with individuals, couples, and groups from all backgrounds and relationship structures, but I am most passionate about working with people who live outside the box. You may have a diagnosis, and we may work on symptom management, but I find that many of my clients are simply trying to navigate the human experience in a world that no human was ever prepared for. Especially a world that was not built with neurodivergence and alternative self-expression in mind. My goal as a therapist is to show up as my full, authentic self, and to provide my clients with the tools they need to move forward as their full, authentic selves. My approach is primarily based in existential and reality therapy, with a strong focus on acceptance and commitment, finding meaning, learning to recognize the need for boundaries and how to express/maintain them, and understanding the brain and body's reactions to stress. I value honesty, transparency, and flexibility, and do my best to bring those traits to the therapeutic relationship. I like to bring creativity into our sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches while also making therapy more accessible for where clients are at the time. Once we have an established therapeutic relationship, we can bring in games, puzzles or even explore walk and talk therapy to supplement the therapy process when appropriate. This is your time to explore who you are, and who you want to be.
