I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself without feeling like you have to perform, explain away who you are, or figure out the “right” thing to say. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, life transitions, identity concerns, emotional overwhelm, and feeling stuck in patterns that no longer work. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic and ADHD individuals, as well as LGBTQ+ clients and people who have often felt misunderstood by traditional systems. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a middle and high school teacher, which still shapes my collaborative, practical, and educational approach. My style is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and straightforward. I believe therapy should help you understand not only what you are experiencing, but why certain patterns keep happening and what you can realistically do about them. You can expect me to be engaged, curious, compassionate, and active in the process. I listen, ask questions, offer observations, teach practical skills, and challenge patterns when appropriate. My goal is not to turn you into someone else, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that works for you.
