I work with adults and elders who carry the weight of trauma, anxiety, and depression—and the shame that often accompanies them. My approach centers on understanding how your symptoms and the different parts of yourself have protected you, even when they now feel like obstacles. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic techniques, I help you develop self-compassion while building skills for real change. I'm particularly committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and those navigating relationship challenges. The therapeutic relationship itself is healing—I believe that trust and genuine connection, combined with evidence-based interventions, create the conditions where transformation becomes possible. I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions and currently accept UPMC Health Plan, Highmark, Cigna Healthcare, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum. I'm accepting new clients and would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
