Introduction

Welcome and thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I am here to help by serving as a listening ear and helping redirect perspectives, particularly when so much focus is on the negative these days. I have worked in high school so I know some issues teenagers face, as well as people who learned to express more when the pandemic limited typical coping methods. I have also worked with individuals near retirement as they cope with shifts in life and newfound possibilities. I look forward to hearing to hearing from you. I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a teacher (12 years high school, 3 years in middle school). I have always done the counseling, but made the switch from private (Foreign Exchange) to public sector (Education) for a career change. This work enables me to come face to face with some of the difficulties both adolescents and families face.
