Introduction

Please message me about your interest in starting therapy. I care about creating an inclusive and safe space for you. My specialties include: the LGBTQIA2S+ community, support on the impacts of trauma, men’s issues, relationship issues, anxiety and codependent behaviors. Therapy is about a building a relationship of trust to help address your patterns of self-criticism, self-loathing and other unresolved emotional wounds. We would work together at a pace that is safe for you, building skills to help you address barriers towards change, with a focus on mindfulness, embodiment and self-compassion. If you're needing support due to recent stress or long-term suffering, then please reach out. Some other issues I'm competent working with: sexuality, gender identity, depression, relationship/family issues. I've been in private practice for 6 years, and a therapist for 15 years. My practice is informed by anti-racist and social justice principles. Making space for the intersection of identity, culture, and lived experience. My work is influenced by taking a relational approach to therapy as well as attachment theory, IFS theory, psychodynamics, being trauma-informed, mindfulness practices, DBT and CBT skills.
