I seek to provide a therapeutic presence that is authentic, respectful, non-judgmental and paces with you when discussing things that are painful or difficult. My approach is informed by family systems theory and in treatment we will explore thoughts, feelings and relationship patterns. Together we'll take into consideration your unique biopsychosocialspiritual experiences to gain insight, restore meaning and deepen a sense of joy, peace and freedom from the troubles that are bringing you in! I also believe it is important for my integrity, as a therapist, to continue learning and growing both personally and professionally and that is my commitment! When I am not at Accent Counseling, I enjoy walking my dogs in the woods looking for feathers, sharing family dinners with my kids and their partners, learning about anything, drinking coffee and riding a tandem bicycle around town with my husband of 30 years (letting him do most of the work of course!)
