Kelly Ayala-Vargas, LCSW brings over six years of clinical experience to mental health and strives to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Kelly approaches therapy with a whole-person perspective, honoring not only your challenges, but also your strengths, culture, and personal experiences. At the core of her work is a deep commitment to building a relationship based on respect, kindness, compassion, and trust. Her style is collaborative and integrative. Kelly draws from approaches like CBT, ACT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), while also tailoring work to what feels most supportive and meaningful to you. She is currently working towards certification in EMDR to further support trauma healing for her clients. Kelly incorporates mindfulness into her work to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and build awareness. She doesn’t see therapy as just “talking” but as a shared process in which we gently explore your experiences, build practical tools, and support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself at your own pace. As a Puerto Rican clinician, Kelly feels a strong connection to and passion for supporting Latino and BIPOC communities. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish. Kelly has experience working with trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, anxiety, and individuals seeking a deeper connection with themselves and their healing journey.
