Introduction

My journey into the mental health field has allowed me to work in community mental health, hospitals, schools, and military communities, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. My passion for this work comes from breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly within communities of color. I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, culturally responsive care where they feel seen, heard, and understood. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker, I approach therapy with compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to social justice. I recognize that many of the challenges people experience are influenced by the systems they navigate, and I understand how overwhelming those barriers can feel. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can focus on what is within your control while building confidence, resilience, and a greater sense of autonomy. I believe healing is rarely linear, and that growth often comes through self-compassion rather than perfection. I strive to meet clients where they are—with empathy, curiosity, and without judgment. While therapy is not a friendship, it is a meaningful therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, and collaboration. Together, we can explore patterns, increase self-awareness, and develop new ways of responding to life’s challenges. Even during moments when believing in yourself feels difficult, I will continue to recognize your strengths and support you as you build confidence in your own ability to move forward. My communication style is open, transparent, and genuine. I will always respect your boundaries, your space, and your pace while creating an environment where you feel safe to be yourself. At the same time, I believe meaningful growth sometimes requires gentle challenges, and I will encourage you to explore new perspectives and recognize patterns that may no longer serve you. I celebrate my clients’ successes, but I also believe there is value in making space for grief, sadness, and life’s more difficult emotions. Through honest communication and mutual trust, we can build a strong therapeutic relationship that supports lasting growth. My hope is that through our work together, you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and become more confident in who you are. Together, we can explore your past with openness and compassion, recognizing that your experiences may shape you but do not have to define your future. While we cannot always control what happens in life, we can choose how we respond, grow, and move forward. My goal is to help you recognize your resilience, appreciate how far you’ve come, and continue showing up for yourself with intention, self-compassion, and hope.
