Introduction

Hi! My name is Kelly and I am so glad you're here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate providing counseling to adults across Texas. I work with people navigating trauma, shame, relationship and attachment struggles, patterns around sex, love, intimacy, and compulsive eating. I want counseling to be a place where you can talk openly about your experiences, including the things that are hard to say out loud, and know you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care. My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by my own experiences. I know what it’s like to do the hard work of looking at your own experiences, recognizing patterns that are keeping you stuck, and learning a different way forward. I’ve been there too. That experience shaped my desire to create a counseling space where you can be fully known without fear of shame or judgment and supported as you begin to heal and make meaningful changes in your life. Because every person's story is different, counseling is tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals. Together, we'll build an approach that reflects what matters most to your healing, builds on your strengths, and supports meaningful, lasting growth. I work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences. For clients who desire it, I am able to offer counseling that integrates Christian faith with evidence-informed therapeutic approaches. This is always your choice and is never an expectation or requirement. My goal is for counseling to be a place where you feel seen, heard, and understood creating space for you to be honest without fear of judgment as you move toward healing, hope, and lasting change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I am under the required supervision for licensure in the state of Texas. My supervisor is Dr. Christian L. Hutcheson, LPC-S, LMFT-S, CSAT-S, CMAT-S, CPTT-S. For more information or to schedule a free consultation, please visit my website at www.waywellcounseling.com. I look forward to connecting with you!
