Hello! My name is Kelly McCaughey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy to individuals ages 10 and up in Pennsylvania. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered, and affirming approach to therapy, with over 9 years of experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and identity-related stressors. I have a particular focus on working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals. My work is grounded in creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to show up as their full selves. I am sex-positive and kink-affirming, and I approach conversations around relationships, identity, and sexuality with openness, respect, and care. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), alongside trauma-informed and strengths-based interventions, to help clients better understand patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior while developing practical coping skills. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s needs, pace, and goals, with an emphasis on building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
