Hi, I’m Kelly Phillips, LAPC, a therapist at Peaceful Horizons Counseling. I know that life can feel overwhelming at times, and asking for support isn’t always easy. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, stress, past experiences, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences, and working toward the changes that matter most to you. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples throughout Georgia through telehealth therapy. I take a warm, collaborative, and personalized approach to counseling because I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll explore what you’re experiencing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and emotionally balanced. For individuals, therapy can be an opportunity to better understand yourself, manage difficult emotions, build healthier coping skills, and navigate life transitions. For couples, I provide support in improving communication, working through conflict, rebuilding connection, and understanding each other’s needs. My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I also have training in the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy to support couples in developing healthier relationship patterns.
