Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adjustment Disorder, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders,

Introduction

I believe that relationships with ourselves and others are the center of growth and development. They can also be the source of pain and unresolved trauma. Understanding "who" we are is essential to "how" we show up in these relationships. Your past does not define you, however it can impact how you "react" to situations. Increasing self-awareness of unhealthy patterns can help you better understand yourself and improve how you "respond" to life's situations. Even though change is a part of life, transitions can feel uncomfortable. Healing your body, mind, and spirit to implement change takes willingness and courage. I look forward to providing a brave space to assist your journey in self-exploration, authentic discovery, and empowerment for positive change. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Infant Mental Health Family Specialist, and EMDRIA Trained EMDR Therapist. I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health, with a specialty in mood and anxiety disorders. I have over 20 years of professional experience working with individuals, couples, and families. My background in dance and knowledge of research in the body/mind/spirit connection informs my holistic approach to mental health and emotional well-being. I value my clients as the expert in their lives. My approach is collaborative and supportive, strengths based, yet direct and clinically concise. I provide Telehealth and In-home psychotherapy for individuals and families. Consultation and training on Infant Mental Health and Maternal Mental Health. In addition, specialized in-home services for supporting families during pregnancy and infants and their caregivers in the postpartum period. Therapy is a choice, and the therapeutic relationship is developed over time with elements like trust, mutual respect, consistency, and unconditional positive regard.
