Introduction

About Kelly Pierce Pineda, LMFT, PMH-C, IMH-E: I believe that healthy relationships are the foundation of lifelong emotional well-being. Our relationships with ourselves, our children, our families, and our communities influence how we grow, heal, and navigate life's challenges. My approach to psychotherapy integrates attachment science, developmental neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and whole-person wellness to help individuals and families strengthen the relationships that matter most—including the relationship they have with themselves. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), Infant Mental Health Family Specialist (IMH-E®), and EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health, crisis intervention, school counseling, clinical leadership, home visiting programs, and private practice. These experiences have reinforced one guiding principle that continues to shape my work: Human development happens in the context of relationships. I specialize in supporting individuals and families through life's most meaningful transitions, including pregnancy, parenthood, early childhood, adolescence, trauma recovery, anxiety, and major life changes. My goal is to provide a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change. Areas of Specialization: Perinatal Mental Health Early Relational Health Attachment-Based Psychotherapy EMDR Therapy Trauma Recovery Anxiety and Mood Disorders Parenting and Family Relationships Children and Adolescents Women's Emotional and Mental Health Life Transitions My Philosophy Healing is more than reducing symptoms. It is about developing healthier relationships—with ourselves, our bodies, our thoughts, our emotions, our families, and the people who matter most. By strengthening these connections, we build resilience, foster emotional well-being, and create lasting change.
