Introduction

Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in helping high achieving Millennial and Gen-Z women through compassionate trauma-focused and attachment-based therapy, through Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and EMDR. She offers in-person sessions in Del Mar Heights, CA and virtual sessions to California and Florida residents. She specializes in helping women understand and improve their anxiety, depression, challenges with communication, self-esteem, work and school stress, life transitions, and relationships. Many times, this can be rooted in trauma. Many people think that the purpose of therapy is to address problems, but it is equally important to plan ahead for reaching your goals and continue to grow into your best self. Kelly works collaboratively with clients to established individualized treatment plans that include education about why feelings may arise and how to address negative thought patterns. Kelly provides honest and compassionate feedback to gently hold clients accountable while also celebrating progress, and providing encouragement when clients feel stuck. She teaches emotional intelligence, meaning how to identify your emotions and then how to use techniques for calming your body. She feels that effective communication skills are essential to healthy relationships. She believes that cultivating a loving relationships from within helps to translate into loving relationships with others. This also come from learning how to repair relationships after conflict. PAYMENT AND INSURANCE Kelly is an out-of-network provider, which means that a superbill (receipt of your payment) will be provided for the client to submit to insurance for reimbursement, or Kelly can submit the superbill for you- removing all the work with insurance! Preferred Provider Organization plans (PPO's) or Out Of Network (OON) benefits allow you to receive full or partial reimbursement (which many times is 40-80%). Please contact your insurance for more information. Health Spending Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can also be used for payment. If you don't yet have an HSA/FSA but know you will seek therapy, sign up at your next open enrollment- it's a great pre-tax benefit! She also offers a sliding scale and Care Credit (a no-interest if paid in full credit card), which provides clients numbers options for accessible therapy.
