Introduction

Making the decision to begin therapy is an important one. As a therapist, I work with all types of different people and experiences. Maybe you've lost sight of who you are or your emotions have become more than you can handle on your own. I'm here to help you figure it out. I excel at helping others determine how to best live their life, especially individuals who have recently experienced a mental health or medical episode that is causing them to re-evaluate their priorities. I can guide you to understand how experiences from your past have impacted your decisions in the present and together we can identify coping skills to manage feelings of overwhelm, stress, anxiety and other mental health challenges. For nearly eight years I worked in the Vanderbilt Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, so I am well versed in crisis management and unique clinical presentations. My specialty is Schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, and psychosis due to a medical condition, however my experience is broad and I love working with other challenges as well. I am experienced with various conditions including: Bipolar Disorder Social anxiety Panic Disorder Identity issues Voice hearing Suspiciousness Chronic interpersonal difficulties Chronic pain Post Partum Psychosis I understand the cost of sessions can be prohibitive. I can provide a superbill to be submitted to your health insurance. This will allow you to receive some reimbursement for the cost of therapy. If you're not sure we're a good fit, I'm happy to hop on the phone so we can figure it out together.
