Therapy provides opportunities for liberation - for understanding what the narrative in your life has been in order to realize what it could be. With curiosity and gentleness, we will explore experiences, relationships, patterns, and parts of your identity that feel limiting. I believe healing comes when you view yourself not as someone who needs fixing, but as someone who is complex and ever-changing and has continued to persist despite the messiness, conflict, and struggle life brings. I value transparency and see my role as that of a witness and guide as we create a space of validation, honesty, warmth, partnership, and growth. I work individually with children, teens, and adults on a variety of issues, and have specialized training in work with queer, trans, and genderfluid people around identity formation, celebration, and expansion. My lens and therapeutic approach are intersectional and informed by critical race, queer, feminist, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based theories. You are the expert on your life. I will support you in processing past experiences, navigating life’s current turns, and moving forward with a deeper sense of groundedness and joy.
