Dr. Kelsey L. Gordon, PhD, NCSP (she/her) is an LGBTQ-identified school psychologist of Black and Puerto Rican descent. She holds a doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is presently working toward independent licensure as a Massachusetts psychologist (Health Service Provider). Dr. Gordon has over 9 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5–22) across public schools, hospital-based programs, therapeutic day schools, residential placements, and group homes. She uses a collaborative, culturally-affirming approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Psychology, and school-based interventions. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), borderline personality disorder, school refusal, behavioral challenges in educational settings, and overall emotion regulation challenges in youth.
