Introduction

Many children, teens, and young adults struggle to put words to what they’re feeling. These challenges may show up as anxiety, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, or feeling overwhelmed by school, relationships, or life transitions. When these struggles go unaddressed, it can lead to feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. I work with children starting at age 2, as well as teens and young adults, to create a safe space where they can express themselves and build the skills needed to navigate life with greater confidence. I believe healing happens in the context of relationships, so I prioritize building genuine, trusting connections with each client and tailor our work together based on their goals and developmental stage. I am passionate about helping parents better understand their child’s behavior and providing practical tools to respond in ways that strengthen connection and improve outcomes. I also enjoy supporting teens and young adults as they learn to navigate relationships, boundaries, and the challenges that come with growing into independence. My clinical approach is evidence-based and trauma-informed, incorporating Child-Centered Play Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work). My style of therapy includes humor, empathy, collaboration, and direct communication. These approaches allow me to address concerns while also creating meaningful change through play, self-understanding, and the therapeutic relationship. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but therapy can provide a place where you or your child feel heard, understood, and supported. If you think we might be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out to schedule a consultation.
