Welcome! I know that things are rough right now, and holding the fear, anger, complexity, resistance, boundaries, connection and healing at once feels like an overwhelming and impossible task; especially since people also need to go to work, clean the house, and look after loved ones at the same time! I believe therapy that affirms and supports folks can be a vital tool to help navigate changes, bolster personal growth and self-worth, recognize patterns, and feel less alone in the chaotic world we are living in. I believe in a systemic approach to therapy (meaning we’ll often talk about the systems we operate within– family, political, socioeconomic, etc) in combination with evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are tailored to work for you. I utilize intersectional feminist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, fat-positive, and emotion-focused frameworks in therapy, but ultimately my approach is person-centered, meaning we will work together to see what approach might be best for you individually with curiosity and flexibility. I work with people (ages 14+) exploring their identity, healing from complex trauma, experiencing challenging life transitions, struggling with body image and disordered eating (diet culture and fatphobia can feel all-consuming!), and folks figuring out how to find joy and community while the world around us is on fire.
