Introduction

Hi, I’m Kelsey Pickard, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Texas, and I’m passionate about helping teens and young adults feel safe, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and understood. In our work together, I strive to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are, no pressure to have it all figured out. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring each person’s unique story. I have a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, and those who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. I am especially passionate about working with teens and young adults as they develop identity, boundaries, and healthy coping skills. In addition to my counseling background, I bring over 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources and leadership support, which deepens my understanding of communication patterns, relationships, burnout, and life transitions. This blend of experience allows me to approach therapy with both empathy and practical insight. Outside of the therapy room, I value authenticity, growth, and staying grounded, principles that strongly shape my work as a therapist. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, and my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement. If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
