Introduction

When life shifts — whether you’re becoming a mother, expanding your family, navigating a demanding career, or trying to reconnect with your creativity — it can feel like you’re carrying more than anyone can see. You deserve a place where you can set some of that weight down. My work is rooted in creating that kind of space for women navigating transition, with a special commitment to supporting Black women whose experiences are often overlooked or misunderstood in traditional care settings. I’m a Licensed Psychological Associate, practicing since 2016 and currently a Level 3 clinician. As a Black woman, I bring both professional experience and lived understanding to the clients I serve. I specialize in maternal mental health and support women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many identity shifts that come with motherhood. I also work with professional women and creatives who are balancing ambition, purpose, and personal wellbeing — often while navigating anxiety, burnout, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are also managing women’s health concerns that impact their emotional wellbeing, and I offer a space where those experiences can be explored with care, validation, and cultural attunement. Before centering my practice on maternal mental health, I spent over five years working closely with women in recovery from eating disorders. That work shaped my commitment to a Health at Every Size perspective and to helping women build self‑acceptance, body trust, and body appreciation across all body sizes. This lens continues to guide how I support clients through the body image changes that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and other health‑related transitions. I’m also honored to be a co‑author of Treating Black Women with Eating Disorders: A Clinician’s Guide, a project that reflects my dedication to culturally responsive care and to amplifying the voices of Black women in healing spaces. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest — about your joy, your exhaustion, your fears, and the parts of you that are still taking shape. In our work together, you’ll have room to be fully yourself — your thoughts, your feelings, your history, and the parts of you still unfolding. Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter, redefining your identity, or trying to find your way back to yourself, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you as you move toward clarity, grounding, and the version of yourself you’re becoming.
