Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NC), Licensed Professional Counselor (SC), and Telehealth-Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL) providing individual counseling services to adults ages 18+. I obtained a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Professional Counseling at Mississippi College. I facilitate healing work with individuals moving through concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment/life transitions, grief & loss, stress management, ADHD, codependency, and self-esteem. Additionally, I facilitate Adult ADHD evaluations. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician. In my work with clients, I utilize a person-centered approach through an existential lens. Working from this perspective, my goal is to create a nonjudgmental and empathetic healing space for you to make meaning of your unique experience. Utilizing existential thought to make meaning of our experience can allow us to go deeper in conversations to look at your personal stories from a wider perspective. My approach to counseling is personalized to where you are in the here-and-now. In counseling, we work holistically with the body, mind, and spirit in the healing process. My intention in counseling is to normalize facets of the human experience and collaborate to create space for clients to let go of ways of being that no longer serve them, in order to integrate and make space for those that do. As a yoga instructor and reiki practitioner, I am trained in healing practices and mindfulness-based techniques such as breath work, meditation, grounding exercises, energy medicine, and yogic philosophy. Utilizing these non-traditional tools can help facilitate resolution of emotional pain, nervous system dysregulation, and reconstruct limiting belief systems. Additionally, having been professionally trained in the use of Brainspotting and EMDR, we can utilize these techniques to facilitate resolution of distress related to traumatic experiences. I look forward to being on your healing journey with you!
