Hi, I’m Kendra. I work with people who spend a lot of time fighting with themselves. I get how exhausting it is when your own mind feels like the place you can never quite get a break from. And I care deeply about helping you build something different. Therapy with me is human. You can expect me to be an active part of the conversation. I’ll ask questions, share what I’m noticing, help you connect some dots, and gently call you out when your brain is doing that thing where it makes a fear, rule, or assumption sound completely reasonable. There’s room for the serious stuff here, but there’s room for everything else, too. We can talk about the thing you’ve never said out loud and somehow end up laughing ten minutes later. You can tell me you ignored the coping skill, asked for reassurance anyway, followed the food rule, spent three hours overthinking something embarrassing, or “I cannot believe I’m about to say this out loud” parts are welcome here, too. Some days we’ll dig deep. Other days we might spend half the session untangling something that happened Tuesday afternoon that you swore wasn’t a big deal. We’ll follow what matters, get curious about the patterns that keep showing up, and work toward helping you feel a little more able to trust yourself outside of our sessions.
