I am Kendra Lanni, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a deep commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and their families. Holding licenses as both an LICSW and a school social worker, my expertise spans across a variety of settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College, where I focused on the clinical needs of children, youth, and families. My academic journey included valuable experience working with at-risk youth within the judicial system. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience at Bradley Hospital, I've developed a deep understanding of mental health diagnoses, clinical presentations, and caregiver needs. My extensive work across inpatient, home-based, and outpatient settings has provided me with a wealth of clinical expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of the community support systems and therapies available throughout Rhode Island. I am a respected member of the mental health community and have had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Associate at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. As the former Associate Director for Hasbro Children's Hospital's SibLink Program, I developed a specialization in supporting the unique needs of siblings and caregivers coping with a loved one's diagnosis, disability, or condition. As a clinical social worker with extensive experience across Rhode Island's hospital, community, and school settings, I intimately understand the complex systems you navigate and the unique emotional, physical, and financial toll that caregiving can take. My focus is entirely on you, the caregiver. Together, we will explore the difficult emotions you may have pushed aside—including guilt, resentment, grief, or pressure—in order to care for your loved ones. I will help you develop actionable strategies for setting healthy boundaries, managing stress, and navigating complex family dynamics, all while honoring your own well-being.
