I have worked in the field for over 20 years and vast experiences supporting people in life changes. I like to use multiple treatment modalities that will help meet a person’s needs. I have background in Infant Mental Health and Parent Child Relationships. I have a passion for helping clients understand the neurobiology of stress and relaxation states using meditation and mindfulness. I use a variety of approaches including EMDR, Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am LGBTQ-affirming. I feel that creating a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship will lead to positive change and growth. My expertise is working with individuals during the child bearing years. There are a wide variety of experiences people face in the times of growing a family, including maternal/paternal anxiety, depression, mood changes; infant loss; role changes; work adjustment; unplanned pregnancies; health complications; infertility; sibling adjustment; and relationship stress. Having a safe place to talk and find ways to cope can be tremendously helpful. I also have knowledge and passion for working with professionals who are experiencing burn out, strain, and difficulty with decision making.
