Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering telehealth therapy to residents of DC, Puerto Rico, Virginia, and Colorado. My clients value thoughtful, specialized support to talk openly and without judgment about challenges with emotional and physical intimacy. I help folks experiencing life transitions and trauma survivors reshape their relationship with sexuality, foster self-compassion, and develop open-hearted communication skills. My clients typically struggle with anxiety, people pleasing, complex family dynamics, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My eclectic approach to counseling draws on extensive training in the traditional talk therapy and somatic (body-based) modalities listed below, specialized training as a Certified Sex Therapist, and my experience working, volunteering, and backpacking on five continents before becoming a therapist. I speak Spanish as my second language and welcome bilingual clients. Originally from Virginia, I now live in Puerto Rico, where I enjoy swimming, cycling, and avoiding my lifelong archnemesis: cold weather! Finding a therapist who feels like a good fit can be difficult, so I'm happy to schedule a free consultation call. I generally respond to emails and voicemails within one business day. When you reach out, please include your location, your insurance, and a little about what you would like to work on in therapy. I look forward to hearing from you.
