I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, mindfulness teacher, and yoga instructor who believes meaningful psychological growth comes from more than symptom reduction alone. My work integrates evidence-based counseling approaches with practical mindfulness skills that help people navigate stress, emotional intensity, relationships, identity struggles, and the broader challenges of being human in a fast-paced world. I began this work after personally experiencing the stabilizing impact of mindfulness during periods of stress and uncertainty in my own life. Over time, that experience evolved into formal clinical training, mindfulness teacher training, and years of counseling work with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, life transitions, and chronic patterns of dissatisfaction or disconnection. My counseling style is grounded, relational, and skills-oriented. I aim to create a space where clients feel both supported and gently challenged toward greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and intentional living. I draw heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, nervous system regulation work, and attachment-oriented perspectives. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional exhaustion, relationship strain, self-criticism, or uncertainty about how to move forward. Together, we work toward building practical tools, clearer understanding, and a more stable relationship with both the mind and the realities of life. In addition to one-on-one counseling, I have a strong interest in psychoeducation and making mental health concepts more accessible and applicable to daily life. My approach emphasizes not only insight, but also sustainable behavioral and relational change grounded in presence, compassion, and clarity.
