Introduction

I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege and extensive experience in helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and difficult life experiences. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and accepted. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based approach that can help people process and heal from traumatic experiences. My work also focuses on helping clients better understand their emotional responses, feel more grounded, and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own experience. I believe therapy should help you create meaningful, lasting change-not simply manage symptoms indefinitely. Our work together is intended to help you better understand yourself, heal from difficult experiences, and develop skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges more independently. Ultimately, my goal is not for therapy to become a permanent part of your life, but to help you heal and build the insight, skills, and resilience to move forward with greater confidence on your own.
