Introduction

If you’re seeking therapy that honors the depth of your story while helping you live more fully in the present and in alignment with your values, I invite you to reach out. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and caregivers navigating emotional pain, life transitions, or complex trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed and seeking support in healing from past or recent loss, abuse, neglect, or harmful patterns maintained across families, cultures, institutions, and broader systems. CONTINUITY OF CARE I support clients transitioning from higher levels of care into ongoing outpatient therapy, building on the progress and skills developed in prior treatment. My decade of experience in intensive treatment settings as a therapist and clinical leader brings an understanding of complex mental health needs and treatment histories, along with familiarity with the therapeutic frameworks and skills clients may be carrying forward. ATHLETES & HIGH-PRESSURE ENVIRONMENTS I also work with athletes and performance-driven individuals navigating the emotional demands that can accompany achievement and competition. As a former Division I collegiate athlete and current high school coach, I understand how success can carry its own momentum, with rising expectations, a narrowing margin for error, and identity becoming increasingly tied to performance. Cultures that value toughness, pushing limits, and self-reliance can also make distress harder to recognize or disclose. Setbacks, burnout, injury, and transitions away from sport, including retirement, can disrupt wellbeing and create uncertainty about what comes next. I integrate a sports psychology lens when these experiences intersect with identity, trauma, or emotional health, without losing sight of the whole person behind the achievements. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In-person sessions available in Los Angeles & video telehealth offered across California.
